Yesterday marked a huge milestone for our Food Security Initiative. 🥬
Our team surpassed 3,000,000 pounds of food distributed through the life of the program. That's nearly 10 years of consistency. 10 years of adapting. 10 years of showing up for South LA's needs.
What began as a one-month trial run is now a pillar of accessible, healthy food in our community.
Thank you for helping us get here. And thank you to our tireless programs team, who have shown up year after year to serve the community we love so dearly. 💚

🎉 Join us for a special Inland Empire Community Eid Celebration in partnership with ! 🎉
We’re bringing the community together for a day of giving, wellness, and family fun. Families will receive free qurbani meat and groceries, while UMMA Health will be on-site providing free health screenings and Medi-Cal enrollment assistance.

Major federal cuts to healthcare means fewer people get access to the care they need. It puts local clinics like UMMA at risk of not being able to meet the needs of our neighbors. A yes vote would temporarily increase sales tax to help cover this funding gap. At UMMA Health we believe it is our collective responsibility to serve everyone regardless of their circumstance.
