The election results are in and I am really excited to report that I have been reelected for another four years. With over 600,000 votes and nearly 57% of the vote, I will not have to have a runoff election in November.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me, contributed, or said nice things to your friends and neighbors.

I’m looking forward to the challenge of continuing to build the finest public assessment agency in the United States.

Thank you!

I was glad to join community and business leaders at the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation's Public Officials Night. It’s always valuable to connect directly with local leaders and small businesses helping drive economic growth and opportunity in the Santa Clarita Valley. Thank you to the SCV EDC for hosting this annual gathering and for its continued leadership in supporting businesses and strengthening the region.

Dear Assessor Prang,

It is with great pleasure that I inform you that the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) has endorsed your candidacy for Los Angeles County Assessor in the 2026 Primary Election.

As you know, the ANCA Western Region is the largest and most influential Armenian-American advocacy organization in the western half of the United States, mobilizing a large network of local chapters and grassroots activists to promote issues of concern to the Armenian-American community, including civic engagement, voter registration, and Get Out the Vote efforts.

Your longstanding track record of engagement on issues important to the Armenian-American community and your demonstrated commitment to our shared priorities earned the support and confidence of our organization.

Sincerely,
Ruben D. Karapetian

What a wonderful evening kicking off Pride Month with the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center, SGV Roundtable, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and Foothill Transit. This year, 12 cities across the San Gabriel Valley are joining together to celebrate Pride Month, demonstrating a shared commitment to inclusion, visibility, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Congratulations to Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association President Terry Madigan, the organization's first LGBTQ president. Your historic leadership is a powerful example of why representation matters and will inspire future generations of leaders.

The Avalon Gardens Community Association has done tremendous work advocating for its community's needs. I was grateful to enhance that mission by visiting their members and sharing valuable property tax relief and family inheritance guidance. Thank you to their President, John Davis, Jr., for the invitation to speak and present.
