Applications are now open for our Local Children’s Author Expo happening at Lexington Main Library on September 26.

If you’re a published author creating books for children ages 0–12, we invite you to apply for this special opportunity to connect with readers, share your work, and be part of a celebration of local storytelling.

The Local Children’s Author Expo offers families the chance to meet authors, discover new books, and purchase signed copies in a relaxed, open-house setting.

Meet Caldecott Medal-winning author and illustrator Jason Chin as he discusses his books, creative collaborations, and the inspirations behind his acclaimed work. Known for beloved titles including Grand Canyon, Redwoods, and Your Place in the Universe, Chin combines art, science, and storytelling in ways that inspire readers of all ages. A book sale with All Good Books and signing will follow.
