Events like these remind us of the importance of connection and the joy that comes from bringing people together. It was wonderful to see participants from both centers enjoying each other's company, sharing stories, and creating new memories.

Second annual elder abuse awareness walk set for June 12 in Staten Island’s Willowbrook Park The second annual event brings together local leaders, community partners and residents to address a problem affecting an estimated 1 in 13 older Americans each year.

As we continue raising awareness and advocating for the safety, dignity, and respect of older adults, we’re taking a moment to look back at last year’s Elder Abuse Awareness Walk.

Together, community members, advocates, supporters, and older adults came together with one shared purpose; to raise awareness, spark conversations, and stand united against elder abuse.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Second Annual No Excuse for Elder Abuse Walk on June 12th at Willowbrook Park. Check-in begins at 9:30am!
