Central Florida heat is no joke right now 🔥It’s important we all look out for one another.

Cooling centers and community sites across our region are open to help people get a break from the heat, offering shade, A/C, cold water, and support when it is needed most 💧❄️

is grateful to stand alongside our incredible partners in this effort, helping distribute water and heat safety kits to neighbors who need them most. In extreme heat like this, even a short break in a cool space can make a real difference.

If you’re able, check on your neighbors, stay hydrated, and share this information with someone who may need it 💚

Thank you Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida for providing this resource! We’re in this together, Central Florida.

Progress Hub this week 🗣

In the main hall we're focusing on all the factors related to election day; what to know leading up to early voting and election day, specifics on civic engagement and how we can protect our votes.

Orlando Against Police Crimes is organizing a Juneteenth march on 6/19. Hear from them and learn why its important to honor the work of past civil rights leaders and to commit to continuing the fight for full equality and Black political power; further exemplified by the recent redrawing of electoral maps and loss of voting rights.

Our democracy hub will be set up with information in one of the classrooms, with information you need for civic action, voting rights and more.

**Our urgent needs collections for this week are : Fresh produce, Maseca corn flour, tinned proteins, cooking oil, pasta, cereal, rice, dry beans, canned vegetables, childrens' snacks, Fresh produce, paper towels, toilet paper, ramen, pancake mix, and maple syrup.

Thank you for whatever you're able to contribute!
And potluck as always**

Costa Farms: Join Planting Justice! 06/13/2026

Please sign this. I know about Costa Farms but I didn’t know exactly how bad it was for the Farmworkers. It’s appalling. Modern day slavery. Women get paid 75% less only because they are women. They’re given unclean water. Exposed to pesticides without proper PPE. Shameful!
