Thank you to the City of Perris and Congressman Mark Takano for the opportunity to attend yesterday’s ceremonial check presentation recognizing $850,000 in federal funding for a new tiller ladder truck for the Perris Fire Department.

It was great to join local leaders, firefighters, and community members in celebrating this milestone. Investments like these reflect our shared commitment to supporting those who serve our communities every day and preparing for the needs of a growing city.

Yesterday, our office kicked off the World Cup with a Jersey Day celebration! Colleagues proudly represented their favorite teams and came together to share in the excitement, camaraderie, and global spirit that make this tournament so special. We had a great time celebrating and look forward to cheering on our teams throughout the competition. ⚽🎉

I was proud to kick off Pride Month at the Inland Empire Pride event at White Park.

This event was a powerful celebration of diversity, inclusion, and community in the Inland Empire. It was inspiring to see residents come together to celebrate identity, unity, and the strength of our region.

I appreciate the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event a success. Pride Month is a time to recognize and uplift the contributions of our LGBTQ+ community, and I was honored to be part of the celebration.

My office and I had the opportunity to visit the Facilities Management Department and learn more about the essential work they do to keep County operations running efficiently.

From maintaining County buildings to supporting the services residents rely on every day, their work often happens behind the scenes but has a significant impact on our community.
