🔥 Things were heating up at our Summer All Staff Quarterly Meeting!
Our team came together to learn, celebrate, and recognize the incredible people who make the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office such a special place to serve.
From employee milestones and our inaugural Paws for Justice pet contest winners 🐾 to celebrating our latest Legal Excellence Award (LEX) recipients 🏆, it was an afternoon full of appreciation and team spirit.

Another week of accountability and justice in Bexar County. ⚖️
✅ Sadaqat Abbasi was sentenced to 35 years in prison for sexual assault.
✅ David Rivera received 45 years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Another profound week in pursuit of justice. ⚖️
✅ Arthur Ruiz was sentenced to 12 years in prison for intoxication manslaughter with a deadly weapon.
✅ Bobby Mercado received two life sentences for murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
✅ Raymond Hernandez was sentenced to 45 years in prison for the murder of a tattoo artist.
✅ Ray Espinosa recieved 35 years in prison for a shooting that occured in 2023.
Together, these outcomes along with others, reflect our continued commitment to accountability, justice, and public safety in Bexar County.
