So this little guy was hiding under a building on Soledad Canyon and Sierra Highway and was not secured so we headed out there secured and searched for a chip.

I’ve had them for several hours in hopes that the owner was at work and they would come home and start searching for him and I’ve been driving around asking if anybody recognizes him.

There were two foster offers and I’ve been waiting for their response

And Danielle has kindly offered to help out, but we had to get the puppy some food and make sure it doesn’t have Pavo and a chew toy
This is in hopes that there’s an owner searching for the Pup

New Foundland Big sweetheart

Someone had seen up in the Aliso Canyon and stated he growled at him.

Please know every dog you should be cautious but growling does not mean aggression. This boy was just scared.

Multiple sightings but he was too scared to be caught. Lots of things need to be done and Diane was helping us with sightings and driving around.
4 days and nights Parker who adopted one of our rescues was all hands on deck and wanted this pup safe. He set food station and trail camera.
On day 5 I was off so was able to help.
At one point we were able to drive in front of him without scaring him and threw some food out to gain his trust. He stayed nearby but the trap got stuck and took longer than expected, so he left.

We were allowed to set the trap there and after several several hours and Parker and I communicating on sightings, we finally got eyes on him and he was near the trap.

230am and finally this boy was Safe

Look what a sweet boy he is

A rescue has offered to take once his stray hold is up but we also have a person that was trying to catch him willing to try it out at his home and if it works out would like to adopt.

We’ve put first rights and will pick him up.

This big boy is finally safe after running terrified for five days, maybe even longer, through a high-coyote area and across two major intersections. Somehow, this sweet, scared boy managed to survive and defend himself while so many kind people tried desperately to feed him and get him off the streets before something terrible happened.

Parker searched for him for five long days and nights and refused to give up. On the final day, Lorena was able to help with a trap at a home this boy kept returning to, almost as if he knew it was the one place he might finally be safe. At 2:30 in the morning, after days of fear, exhaustion, and worry, we were finally able to trap him.

Foundland Rescue has agreed to take him into their rescue, and also one of the kind people who had been feeding him is willing to open his home to him. The original foster never responded, and for a moment it felt like this poor boy’s future was uncertain again. But because we kept networking, showing up, and refusing to let him be forgotten, he now has a chance at a good outcome.

We still need pledges for the rescue. This boy has an eye issue that needs care, and there is still a fee to get him out of the shelter. He has already been through so much, and he deserves to finally feel safe, loved, and wanted.

Diane, a local Porter Ranch resident, has been incredible with networking, following sightings, and going out to search for him. So many people cared about this boy when he had no one.

He is not chipped, not fixed, and he is skinny. He is sweet, but scared. Even after everything he has been through, he walks beautifully on a leash.

This boy survived alone, frightened, hungry, and in danger. Now he needs us to help him take the next step toward safety.

Please do not donate to our Rescue. We would love and appreciate that. All donations. Go directly to the Rescue once he’s there.

Please share….
This is so important to be aware of the dangers of putting kitty litter box outside.
We recommend other scented items.

While this is amazing news that kitty made it back home….

We took the time to advise her and make suggestions and kitty made it home❤️

I really don’t think people and owners realize the “time” we take to help them that it’s time away from our families, our work, another trapping… basically it’s time.

We rarely get donations from owners but we don’t ask either and when we do we are truly thankful and thankful for the communities support. What we do ask for a shoutout to our organization for taking the “time”

Let me explain it’s not only because of the thank you but theirs scammers out there and those scammers make the real rescues questionable and that’s why we need the people to tag us or refer us.

Also when i mention people…
We drove from Santa Clarita to Sylmar for a pup that had been at an apartment building for a week.
I had spoken to the person that afternoon and nothing was said about “ the pup no longer there” taken to the shelter.
I had just finished a 3 day conference and i was exhausted but i drove over 30 minutes, bought chicken and hot dogs and i get there there’s no dog.

The poster was aware the day before was picked up.

This is where there’s a lack of value for our time and gas money.

Please when reaching out to any rescue, value them ❤️🙏
We take the time for you!!
