Grieving a parent is expected. They are supposed to go before us. But that doesn’t make it easy.
I expected Holidays to be difficult. What I didn’t expect was crying at the grocery store because I saw his favorite food.
I had expectations for this grief process but I think I’ve learned there is no “process” along the way ❤️‍🩹

I typically take my leg off if I’m riding in the passenger seat. Especially for more than 3 hours. I keep my liner on to prevent swelling so I can still pop my leg back on at stops!
My husband calls me passenger princess 😝
