This World Fresh Veggies Day, we celebrate more than just healthy food—we celebrate sustainability, nourishment, and hope. Through our agri-gardens at children’s centres and the work at Mountain View Farm, fresh vegetables are grown not only to feed thousands of children but to build resilience, teach valuable agricultural skills, and strengthen communities. Every harvest represents improved nutrition, dignity, and a step toward long-term food security.

In 2013, Macy lost her sight and became blind.
But that didn't stop her from serving the children at the preschool she founded in a rural South African village 25 years ago.
Today she cares for 50 children, many of whom would go hungry without a meal at school.
Now, there is new hope.
Thanks to Blessman International and its donors, the preschool has a new well with access to clean, reliable water, a vegetable garden to help feed the children, and will receive new toilet facilities, creating a healthier and safer environment for everyone.
Earlier this month, Macy celebrated her 60th birthday and gives all the glory to God for His faithfulness through every challenge and every blessing.
With improved water and sanitation, she is excited to welcome even more children in the years ahead.
What an incredible testimony of perseverance, faith, and God's provision. ❤️

Last week, our community came together for a dedicated South Africa packaging week at the Patty Cownie Packaging Center, packaging 325,080 nutritious meals that will help feed 1,250 children for an entire year who are facing hunger in South Africa.
Every meal packaged represents hope, nourishment, and the power of our community coming together to make a difference. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and partner who helped make this week possible.
We are grateful for our partnership with Blessman International and the work being done to help care for communities in South Africa and beyond. 💙

Did you know that recycling just one plastic bottle can save enough energy to power a light bulb for up to 6 hours?
At Blessman International, we are committed to caring for creation by promoting sustainable practices within our communities. Through initiatives that support environmental responsibility alongside development programs, we encourage a culture of stewardship—teaching children and families the importance of protecting the environment as part of building a healthier, hope-filled future.

As child protection week comes to an end today, our hope is that as society we make it our mission to protect children and ensure that their safety is not compromised at any point.
Child Protection Week serves as a reminder that every child deserves to grow up in an environment free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence.
A lot of abuse is done in silence and or children are silenced. Adults have the responsibility to report abuse to authorities and support children who have been abused.
Protecting children is everyone’s responsibility. By working together as families, communities, schools, and organisations, we can create safer spaces where every child can thrive.
