Today, we commemorate Juneteenth and honor the generations of Black Americans who fought for freedom, justice, and equality.

As we mark this day, we must also recognize the work that remains to protect civil rights and ensure that freedom is fully realized for every American.

This agreement appears to put us right back where we were before Trump started this unnecessary war—a war that killed U.S. servicemembers, wounded hundreds more, and cost American taxpayers billions of dollars.

I’ll be closely following the development of any future nuclear agreement. Iran has enough enriched uranium to build several Hiroshima-style weapons—something they didn’t have before Trump tore up the Iran Nuclear Deal.
