The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command was honored to join The Pentagon Memorial Fund at their inaugural Golf Classic during the 25th anniversary year of 9/11.

As participants gathered to remember those who lost their lives and honor the brave first responders who answered the call at the Pentagon, our Emergency Disaster Services team helped keep players and guests hydrated throughout the day.

The Salvation Army was among the organizations that responded in the immediate aftermath of the attacks on September 11, 2001, serving first responders, recovery workers, and those impacted by the tragedy. That history makes opportunities like this especially meaningful as we continue to honor, remember, and reflect during this milestone year.

Thank you to The Pentagon Memorial Fund for allowing us to be part of a day dedicated to remembrance, service, and honoring the legacy of those we lost. ❤️🇺🇸

Another Friday, another FOX 5 DC Zip Trip! 📍Lorton, VA

Our contestant, Alora, manager of Club Pilates Hybla Valley, kept the fun going during our Price is Right-style game. Club Pilates is also one of our amazing Angel Tree supporters, helping collect boxes of toys each Christmas season to bring joy to local children. 🎄🎁

This week’s theme focused on mental health and wellness, reminding everyone to make time for both their mental and physical well-being. From yoga blocks and workout gear to candles, journals, and workout mats, each item highlighted simple ways to practice self-care and stay healthy.

A big thank you to Alora and Club Pilates for their continued support of The Salvation Army and our community! ❤️
