Despite coming up short in the finals, the Spurs had an incredible season and have an even bigger future ahead. Think about it - we made it to the finals after missing the playoffs for about seven years straight!

Congratulations to the Knicks for breaking their 53 year title drought. They have a team that plays very well together.

Alejandro and his dad are back home where they belong. They were locked away at the Dilley trailer prison for nearly a month. They should have never been there in the first place—they are asylum seekers who did everything the right way.

Alejandro is just 15. He missed his last days as a sophomore at Churchill High School, where he played soccer. Thanks to the overwhelming support of his family, friends, coaches, teachers, and the entire San Antonio community, they were released.

We must shut down Dilley and stop more children from having their childhoods robbed of them.

Great news! Alejandro and his dad Jairo will be released from the Dilley trailer prison tomorrow.

Alejandro missed his last days of 10th grade at Churchill High School and should have never been locked up. Thanks to all who pushed for their release. Keep speaking up, your voice is making a difference!

Alejandro is a high school student in San Antonio. He was on his way to a soccer game when ICE surrounded his home and took him and his father. They have been locked away for over 3 weeks at the Dilley trailer prison. He missed his last days of 10th grade.

I met with Alejandro at Dilley. He told me how much he misses his mother and was having trouble eating. They are asylum seekers and did everything the right way. They do not belong at Dilley—no child does. ICE should release them immediately and let Alejandro and his dad return home.

Children like five-year-old Liam Ramos who spent time at the Dilley trailer prison will live with that trauma for the rest of their lives.

I have hope that our country will not be defined by the Administration's actions at Dilley but by the voices of countless Americans who are calling for it to be shut down.

Today the House will vote to give almost $70 billions more to ICE and CBP. I will be voting NO.

Instead of giving more taxpayer funding to ICE, I am pushing to end child detention and their secrecy.

I won’t stop until we end child detention and stop Trump's mass deportation machine.
