We thank Congresswoman Lateefah Simon (D-CA) for cosponsoring H.R. 6840, the Armenia Security Partnership Act.
The bill requires Azerbaijan to withdraw from Armenian territory, release all Armenian hostages, end hostilities, protect cultural heritage, and recognize the right of return to Nagorno-Karabakh. It also bars any waiver of Section 907—ensuring U.S. funds cannot enable Azerbaijani aggression.

🚨TAKE ACTION: FREE ARMENIAN HOSTAGES HELD IN BAKU
This week, the White House announced the nomination of a new U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
As the nomination moves through the Senate confirmation process, Senators have an important opportunity to raise critical issues affecting peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
Take action now and urge your Senators to ask the nominee what steps he will take to secure the release of Armenian hostages, protect Armenian Christian and cultural heritage following the 2023 ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh, and stand up against the genocidal policies of the Aliyev regime.

President Trump previously committed to raising the release of the Christian Armenian hostages directly with President Aliyev. The Assembly calls on the United States to translate these commitments into concrete, measurable action.
