Rep. Marlin Stutzman introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives that I think provides a timely, albeit seismic, change in U.S. policy on Israel. The legislation, which has the support of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, would shift the framework for the US-Israel relationship from one of traditional foreign assistance to a partnership, which I think is about time. It would go from aid to trade.
