Burnsville cattle producer Noah Carpenter is a great example of the hard work and dedication found in Mississippi agriculture. As a first-generation farmer, he started with just three cows and has worked to grow his operation while balancing a full-time job. It was great meeting with Noah and a group of Mississippi farmers to discuss the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026. As a member of House Ag GOP, I will continue fighting to ensure our prodcuers have the support they need.

I am proud to announce the appointment of Noel "Trice" McMichael III of Shannon, Mississippi, to the United States Naval Academy.
Trice is a high-achieving student at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. He has excelled in martial arts, earning multiple honors. He has also pursued research opportunities in science and technology, including serving as a lab technician and research student for ARISE at the University of Mississippi. Congratulations, Trice.
