Our 1st Elevation Legacy Counseling (ELC) Workshop was nothing short of powerful. đŤ
We had the honor of sitting with seniors in our community and walking through real concerns about their homesâand what comes next. By the end of the session, participants left feeling more informed, more confident, and most importantly, more protected.
We covered critical questions like:
⢠Whatâs going on with my home?
⢠What happens next?
⢠What do I need to bring to move forward?
Together, we helped each homeowner identify their situationâwhether it was:
âď¸ Financial challenges tied to the home
âď¸ Ownership or family-related issues
âď¸ Or concerns about people trying to take advantage
From there, we walked through our 4-step support process:
1ď¸âŁ We Learn About Your Situation
2ď¸âŁ We Review Your Information
3ď¸âŁ We Connect You to the Right Help - ELCâs Preferred Partner Network
4ď¸âŁ We Hold the ELC Preferred Partner Accountable
We also introduced our ELC Homeowner Checklist and âMy Situationâ Worksheetâtools designed to give clarity, structure, and peace of mind.
This is what Elevation is about: education, protection, and real pathways forward for our seniors and families. This is just the beginning.

đ¨ A hard truth the community isnât talking about⌠đ¨
For generations, government jobs and homeownership have been the two most reliable paths to wealth for minority families.
đ Weâve all watched whatâs happening with government jobs lately.
The ground has shifted. Stability is no longer guaranteed.
đ Now letâs talk about the other pillarâhomeownership.
Minority Baby Boomersâthe generation that bought, held, and protected their homesâare beginning to pass away.
Over the next 10â20 years, a significant portion of those homes will not remain in minority family ownership.
Why?
Because many children and grandchildren:
⢠Donât see homeownership the same way
⢠Arenât prepared to inherit property responsibly
⢠Are overwhelmed by taxes, probate, repairs, or legal issues
⢠Or simply sell⌠because no one explained the long-term cost of that decision
đ When those homes leave our families, they donât come back.
đ When theyâre gone, the wealth is gone with them.
đ And over the next 50 years, that wealth gap will grow exponentially.
This is not accidental.
And it is not inevitableâif we act now.
Elevation Legacy Counseling exists to spotlight this reality before families lose everything they worked decades to build.
This is about:
đ Education before inheritance
đ Strategy before crisis
đ Legacy before loss
đŹ If youâre a homeowner, the child of a homeowner, or worried about what happens to âthe houseâ when Mom or Grandma is goneâcomment âLEGACYâ or DM me.
This conversation is overdue.
And silence is costing us too much.
