Dangerous rip currents are possible today at beaches across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Even if the ocean looks calm, powerful currents can quickly pull swimmers away from shore.
If in doubt, stay out. Choose protected beaches and swim only near lifeguards whenever possible.
🌊 Hoy son posibles corrientes marinas peligrosas en playas de Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes Estadounidenses. Aunque el mar parezca tranquilo, estas corrientes pueden arrastrar rápidamente a los bañistas mar adentro.
Si tiene dudas, mejor no entre al agua. Elija playas más protegidas y nade solo cerca de salvavidas siempre que sea posible.
