Severe monsoon flooding has effected almost every people in Sindh Pakistan. 85% of effectees have lost their homes, their possessions and their livelihoods and are urgent need of food, safe water and dry shelter and medicines.
The assistance they require is life-saving and immediate but the impact of the flooding will be longer lasting.
As a breeding site for mosquitoes the standing water significantly increases the potential for exposure to disease such as dengue, and malaria So medical assistance would be needed to save them from such diseases.
