17th EAPF happening in Juba, South Sudan
Today marks the final day of insightful discussions, collaboration, and regional engagement focused on strengthening public procurement systems across East Africa.
A lot has been shared on how East African Partner States can enhance Beneficial Ownership Disclosure in Public Procurement Systems to promote transparency, accountability, integrity and fair competition in public procurement.
Looking forward to the implementation of the Forum's resolutions.

Kenya’s public procurement sector is well represented at the 17th East Africa Procurement Forum(EAPF) taking place this week in Juba, South Sudan.
The theme of this year’s forum is “Enhancing Beneficial Ownership Disclosure in Public Procurement Systems.”
The Kenyan delegation includes representatives from:
- Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
- Public Procurement Administrative Review Board (PPARB)
- National Treasury (SD-PIAM)
- Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
- Attorney General’s Office
- Competition Authority of Kenya
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Office of the Head of Public Service
- Central Bank of Kenya
- Office of the Data Protection Commissioner
The forum provides an important platform for regional collaboration, knowledge sharing and strengthening transparency and accountability in public procurement systems across East Africa.
