As part of the Abu Dhabi Chamber delegation to Shanghai, the Abu Dhabi Family Business Council strengthened its international engagement through a series of high-level meetings with leading institutions and experts, culminating in the signing of an MoU with the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy.

ضمن برنامج مجلس أعمال أبوظبي للشباب في شنغهاي، نظّم المجلس زيارة إلى مركز الابتكار والتميز الوطني (NICE) في شنغهاي حيث اطّلع المشاركون على أحدث الممارسات في الابتكار وريادة الأعمال ودور المركز في دعم البحث والتطوير وتسريع تبنّي التقنيات المتقدمة.

As part of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council’s programme in Shanghai, the Council organised a visit to the National Innovation Center Par Excellence Shanghai where participants explored the latest practices in innovation and entrepreneurship and learned about the Centre’s role in supporting R&D and accelerating advanced technologies.
The visit reflects the Council’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening knowledge and economic exchange between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai.

During the Abu Dhabi Chamber economic delegation’s visit to Shanghai, the Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings organised by the Chamber brought together more than 40 Abu Dhabi private sector companies and leading Chinese businesses, reflecting the UAE private sector’s ambition to expand globally and explore new opportunities for growth and investment.

The Abu Dhabi Family Business Council and the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy have signed an MoU aimed at advancing collaboration in the family business sector and expanding avenues for knowledge and expertise exchange, helping reinforce the foundations of sustainability and enhance the competitiveness of this key sector. The MoU was signed by H.E. Khaled Al Fahim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Family Business Council, and Dr. Adrian Cheng, Chairman of the Board of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy, as part of the joint collaboration activities between both parties.
The MoU establishes a foundation for developing joint initiatives and programmes, and adopting leading international practices in the governance and management of family businesses, supporting their long‑term growth and strengthening their contribution to the economy.
