أعلنت الهيئة الاتحادية للهوية والجنسية والجمارك وأمن المنافذ عن منح الفئات المتأثرة نتيجة الظروف الاستثنائية التي مرت بها المنطقة والتي سبق إعفائها من الغرامات المترتبة على تأخر المغادرة، مهلة لمدة 30 يومًا لتعديل أوضاعهم في الدولة أو المغادرة، على أن تبدأ هذه المهلة في 10 يونيو 2026، ولغاية 09 يوليو 2026.

وأكدت الهيئة على أن هذا القرار يهدف إلى ترسيخ ثقافة الالتزام بالقوانين والتشريعات المعتمدة في الدولة ومنح الفرصة للمتأثرين لتصحيح أوضاعهم والعمل والعيش في دولة الإمارات بشكل قانوني، في ظل انتهاء الأزمة واستقرار الأوضاع في المنطقة.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has announced a 30-day grace period for individuals affected by the exceptional circumstances previously experienced in the region and who had been exempted from overstay fines resulting from delayed departure. The grace period commenced on 10 June 2026 and will remain in effect until 09 July 2026, allowing eligible individuals to either regularise their status in the UAE or depart the country.

The Authority emphasised that the decision aims to reinforce a culture of compliance with the UAE’s laws and regulations while providing affected individuals with an opportunity to rectify their status and continue living and working in the UAE legally, following the resolution of the crisis and the restoration of stability across the region.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and matters of mutual interest related to Indian nationals with a diplomatic delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of India to the UAE, during a meeting held on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
