The Kenya Embassy in the UAE held a Staff Retreat on 5–6 June 2026, bringing together officers for reflection, learning, and team building in pursuit of excellence in public service.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Amb. Kenneth Nganga commended staff for their dedication and professionalism, and underscored the importance of teamwork, innovation, and accountability in advancing the Mission's objectives.
Through interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, the team reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, integrity, efficiency, and citizen-centred service as we continue to enhance service delivery for Kenyans in the UAE and our valued clientele.

Several Kenyans living and working in the UAE have been adversely affected by job losses resulting from the slowdown and closure of sectors such as hospitality and related industries.
On 4 June 2026, the Kenya Embassy in the UAE, led by H.E. Kenneth Nganga, Ambassador of Kenya to the UAE, extended support to affected Kenyans in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the Diaspora leaders. The ambassador presented the donation of essential supplies to help ease their immediate challenges as they work towards rebuilding their livelihoods.
This humanitarian initiative reflects the strong partnership between the Embassy and the Kenyan diaspora community, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, compassion, and mutual support that defines the Kenyan family abroad.
The Embassy gratefully acknowledged a personal contribution made by H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, Prime Cabinet Secretary of the Republic of Kenya, and his spouse, whose support made this intervention possible. The Embassy of Kenya in the UAE is pleased to invite all Kenyans living in Al Ain and its environs to a Mobile Consular Service (MCS).

📍 Falcon Hall, Royal Cotton Building, Al Ain
Consular services to be offered include:
✅ Application & attestation of Kenyan Police Clearance Certificates
✅ Application & attestation of Kenyan Birth Certificates
✅ Application for Kenyan National IDs
✅ Application for Kenyan Passports
✅ Attestation of Academic Certificates
The MCS will also provide an opportunity for Kenyans in Al Ain and surrounding areas to engage and interact with the Ambassador of Kenya to the UAE.

On 18-May-2026, H.E Bolbongse Vangphaen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UAE, paid a courtesy call on Amb. Kenneth Nganga.
The visit reaffirmed the 60 years of cordial, strong diplomatic ties, as evidenced by ongoing collaboration between the two Countries. The Ambassadors exchanged views on mutual priority areas and South-South Cooperation.
Additionally, the Ambassadors committed to engaging in continuous dialogue to advance mutual interests and opportunities as the two countries gear up to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic ties.
