في حديثه إلى «ميد» على هامش المنتدى السنوي السابع لمشاريع تحلية المياه في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، استعرض المهندس عبدالله الخميري، الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات، أولويات الاتحاد للماء والكهرباء للمرحلة المقبلة، مسلطًا الضوء على خططها الاستراتيجية لتعزيز الأمن المائي، وتطوير الشبكات، وتنويع مواقع إنتاج المياه، ودور الشراكة بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص في بناء منظومة مياه أكثر مرونة واستدامة في شمال الإمارات.

In an interview with MEED on the sidelines of the 7th MENA Desalination Projects Forum, Eng. Abdulla Al Khemeiri, Chief Operating Officer, outlined EtihadWE’s roadmap for the next phase, highlighting its plans to strengthen water security, enhance and expand its networks, diversify water production geographically, and leverage public-private partnerships to build more resilient and flexible water infrastructure across the Northern Emirates.

Abdulla Jassem bin Kalban, Vice Chairman; and Eng. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO, along with a number of ministers and senior officials.

وشارك في الوفد المهندس أحمد جهاد السويدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لتطوير الأعمال في ذراع الاستثمار التابعة للاتحاد للماء والكهرباء، في خطوة تعكس دور الشركة في دعم توجهات الدولة نحو بناء شراكات استراتيجية طويلة الأمد، واستكشاف فرص استثمارية نوعية تسهم في تطوير القطاعات الحيوية وتعزيز التعاون الدولي.

H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Chairman of Etihad Water and Electricity’s Board of Directors, led the UAE delegation at the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The delegation included representatives from several national entities active in investment, energy and infrastructure.

Eng. Ahmed Jehad Al Suwaidi, Chief Business Development Officer at EtihadWE’s investment arm, was also part of the delegation. His participation reflects EtihadWE’s role in supporting the UAE’s efforts to build long-term strategic partnerships, explore high-value investment opportunities that advance key sectors, and strengthen international cooperation.
