2️⃣Second, reading can help reduce stress levels. This is because when we are stressed, our minds tend to race and we are unable to relax. However, when we read, our minds are engaged in the story and we forget about our troubles. As a result, reading can help us relax and reduce stress levels.

3️⃣Finally, reading can help improve our moods. This is because when we read positive stories, it can make us feel happy and positive. As a result, reading can help improve our overall moods and make us feel happier.

❣️“Dyslexia isn't a disability, it's a stumbling block that can be turned into a stepping stool with the right resources and support…”

🧒🏼Being a mother of (primary) school going child I regularly hear that ‘such and such’ still has trouble reading. Or ‘such and such needs a support teacher’. However, it surprises me that there still seems to be stigma around Dyslexia and the difficulty to have your child assessed (this might vary per country/ region).

🎧️Today on Dyslexia Awareness Day I would like to reflect on the importance of audiobooks for dyslexics.
Audiobooks can be a valuable resource for dyslexics, helping them to improve their reading skills and build their vocabulary. They can also aid comprehension by providing a way to access text.

📖Audiobooks can also be particularly helpful for dyslexics who struggle with decoding text, as they can listen to the book being read aloud. This can help to increase their understanding of the text and make it easier for them to follow along.

👉🏻Audiobooks can also be a valuable tool for dyslexics who are struggling with fluency, as they can listen to the book being read at a faster pace than they would be able to read it themselves.

🎵Listening to audiobooks can also help dyslexics to become more familiar with the sound and rhythm of a spoken language, which can be beneficial for their overall language skills.

Hoi Publishing (publ.) ingår exklusivt samarbetsavtal med AI-bolaget Reedz.

Genom samarbetet kommer Hoi Publishing och Reedz att utvärdera flera unika affärsmodeller som Reedz AI-teknik möjliggör genom en helt annan skalbarhet och volym för att publicera verk på många olika språk och digitala format för läsare och lyssnare på deras modersmål. Samarbetet öppnar även upp för stora möjligheter till effektivare hantering och snabbare kommersialisering av bokrättigheter till fördel för såväl författare som Hoi Publishing.
Samarbetet kommer konkret och omedelbart vara inriktat på olika delar av Hoi Publishings verksamhet såsom Kunskapshuset Förlag, Lilla Hoi, Lusthuset Förlag och Hoi Agency. De första översättningsuppdragen har redan lagts ut på Reedz av Hoi Publishing och det är överenskommet att Hoi Publishing kommer att på olika sätt bistå Reedz i utvärderingen av dess AI-teknik, vilket över tid förväntas kunna resultera i många betydelsefulla affärer.

Hoi Publishing (publ.) enters into an exclusive cooperation agreement with the AI company Reedz.

Through the collaboration, Hoi Publishing and Reedz will evaluate several unique business models enabled by Reedz AI technology through a completely different scalability and volume for publishing works in multiple languages and digital formats for readers and listeners in their native language. The collaboration also opens up significant opportunities for more efficient management and faster commercialization of book rights to the benefit of both authors and Hoi Publishing.
The cooperation will focus specifically and immediately on different parts of Hoi Publishing's activities such as Kunskapshuset Förlag, Lilla Hoi, Lusthuset Förlag and Hoi Agency. The first translation assignments have already been outsourced to Reedz by Hoi Publishing and it is agreed that Hoi Publishing will assist Reedz in various ways in the evaluation of its AI technology, which is expected to result in many significant deals over time.

Reedz, nyligen antagna till Swedish Scaleups, är stolt över att kunna tillkännage sitt samarbete med Världens Bibliotek – ett digitalt bibliotek som erbjuder e-böcker och ljudböcker på många språk.

Reedz översätter och producerar ljudböcker på fler än 80 språk idag, med hjälp av världsledande AI-teknologi.
Världens bibliotek är ett digitalt mångspråksbibliotek med syftet att främja läsning och kunskap för att alla ska kunna verka i samhället på egna villkor. Alla människor har enligt språklagen rätt till sina språk och en språklig utveckling.

Det känns spännande att kunna erbjuda AI-genererade ljudböcker i Världens bibliotek. Det tror vi kan bli ett bra tillskott till vårt befintliga utbud. Just nu planerar vi att ta in böcker på arabiska, kroatiska, polska, somaliska, thailändska och ukrainska, säger Charlotte Goobar, bibliotekarie och innehållsansvarig för Världens bibliotek. �
