Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) was established as an autonomous body by Law No. (21) of 2007, issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which was replaced by Law No. Under this law, (DCAA) is responsible for developing the air transport industry in the Emirate of Dubai and to oversee all aviation related activities.
