بعد أن أطلقت الهيئة مشروع ’الإمارات.. بشر وأثر‘ بهدف توثيق سِيَر الرموز الإماراتية المؤثرة، تأتي المرحلة الأولى من المشروع لتترجم هذه الرؤية إلى عشرة إصدارات نوعية تسلط الضوء على إنجازات الروّاد والرموز الأدبية والثقافية والمجتمعية والاقتصادية والعلمية في دولة الإمارات، وتقدّم تجاربهم بوصفها نماذج مُلهمة للأجيال القادمة.

ولا يقتصر أثر المشروع على توثيق هذه القصص الملهمة، بل يمتد ليشكّل إضافة نوعية للمشهد الثقافي والإبداعي المحلي، من خلال دعم ثقافة القراءة، وتعزيز حضور اللغة العربية، وإبراز التراث الإماراتي، وترسيخ الهوية الوطنية في نفوس أفراد المجتمع.

Following the launch of the ‘People and Legacy’ project, aimed at documenting the life stories of influential Emirati figures, the project’s first phase brings this vision to life through ten distinguished publications. These works highlight the achievements of pioneering literary, cultural, social, economic, and scientific figures in the UAE, presenting their journeys as inspiring examples for future generations.

The project’s impact extends beyond documenting these remarkable stories. It also enriches the local cultural and creative landscape by promoting a culture of reading, strengthening the presence of the Arabic language, celebrating Emirati heritage, and reinforcing national identity across the community.

في إطار حرصنا على تكريم أعلام دبي والإمارات والاحتفاء بإرثهم ومساهماتهم وإنجازاتهم في شتى المجالات، أطلقت هيئة الثقافة والفنون في دبي مشروع ’الإمارات.. بشر وأثر‘، بالتعاون مع ’دار غاف للنشر‘، بهدف نشر سلسلة من الكتب النوعية التي توثّق سيرة نخبة من الشخصيات الإماراتية المؤثّرة، وعناصر الثقافة والتراث الإماراتي، وتقديمها إلى الأجيال الناشئة بأسلوب مميز.

يشاركنا الكتّاب والرسّامون المكلّفون بإعداد الكتب، سعادتهم وفخرهم بأن يكونوا جزءًا من هذا المشروع، لما له من أثر كبير على الطفولة والمجتمع، يعزّز لديهم روح الانتماء، ويربطهم بتاريخهم الإنساني والثقافي.



As part of our commitment to honouring the luminaries of Dubai and the UAE, and celebrating their legacy, contributions, and achievements across various fields, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority launched the “People and Legacy” project, in collaboration with Ghaf Publishing House. This project aims to publish a series of high-quality books documenting the lives of a select group of influential Emirati figures and elements of Emirati culture and heritage, sharing them with younger generations in a unique way.

The writers and illustrators commissioned to create these books share their pride in being part of this project, recognising its significant impact on children and society. The initiative aims to foster a sense of belonging and connection to pioneering figures and cultural history.

ختام شهر حافل بالأدب ضمن مبادرة ، بتنظيم من ‘اتحاد كتاب وأدباء الإمارات’ وبالتعاون مع ‘هيئة الثقافة والفنون في دبي’.

حيث استكشف المشاركون في جلسة مميزة عالم الخراريف الإمارتية بوصفها موروثًا شعبيًا قيّمًا، كما استمتعوا بأمسية احتفت بالشعر كمساحة للتعبير عن التجارب الإنسانية ومفاهيم الحياة المختلفة.

A month full of literary experiences wrapped as part of the series, organised by the Emirates Writers Union in collaboration with Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

Participants explored the world of Emirati folktales in a special session, highlighting their significance as a valuable part of cultural heritage. The unique evening also celebrated poetry as a vehicle for expressing human experiences and diverse perspectives.

شهر آخر من الأدب والثقافة نختتمه معكم ضمن فعاليات لشهر مايو. حيث كانت جلساتنا حافلة بالمعرفة والفن والإبداعات اليدوية المتنوعة، كما عززت الروابط الأسرية والقيم الإماراتية احتفاءً بشعار هذا العام، ‘عام الأسرة’.

Another month of literature and culture concludes as part of our events for May. We held sessions filled with knowledge, art, and diverse crafts, which also strengthened family bonds and Emirati values in celebration of this year’s national theme, the ‘Year of Family.’

مسيرةٌ شعرية امتدت بين التعليم والثقافة والتراث، شكّل فيها الشاعر الإماراتي عبدالله الهدية الشحي حضوراً أدبياً وإعلامياً عبر برامج وقصائد وإصدارات وثّقت لحظات من الذاكرة الوطنية، وجسّدت ارتباط الكلمة بالهوية.
