In Jasionka, right by Rzeszów Airport, a unique medical evacuation hub has been operating since 2022. ✈️🩺

At its heart is Adam Szyszka from the Polish Center for International Aid Foundation (PCPM), who coordinates care for patients evacuated from Ukraine. As MEDEVAC HUB Team Leader, Adam helps people arriving with severe injuries or after amputations. He makes sure they receive calm, professional care before continuing treatment in hospitals across Europe. This is a crucial medical stop where every detail matters: oxygen, pain relief, monitoring, steady hands and clear decisions.

Implemented by PCPM together with the EU and European partners, the MEDEVAC HUB is a powerful example of Polish and European solidarity in action. 🇵🇱 🇪🇺🤝🇺🇦

"Fryderyka Chopina" oraz wszystkim finalistom, którzy zaprezentowali wysoki poziom artystyczny, pasję i zaangażowanie. Dziękujemy organizatorom Shkolla Artistike " Jordan Misja"_ Liceu. Pikërisht 37 vjet më parë, më 4 qershor 1989, polakët morën pjesë në zgjedhje demokratike, duke i hapur derën një revolucioni paqësor.

Ky moment historik u bë shtysa për ndryshime demokratike dhe fillimi i fundit të regjimeve komuniste në të gjithë rajonin.

Dokładnie 37 lat temu, 4 czerwca 1989 r., Polacy wzięli udział w demokratycznych wyborach, otwierając drzwi do pokojowej rewolucji.

Ten historyczny moment stał się impulsem dla przemian demokratycznych i początkiem końca reżimów komunistycznych w całym regionie.

🎶 Teresa and Marta believe that every young person deserves to be heard. As teachers and UPSHIFT mentors, they support teenagers from Ukraine, Poland and beyond with warmth, patience and care – helping them settle in, open up and believe that their voice matters. 🇵🇱🤝🇺🇦

Through UPSHIFT programme, implemented by UNICEF Refugee Response Office together with partners in Poland, Teresa, Marta and many other mentors show young people that they can shape the world around them. Step by step, they help them turn ideas into action and build a sense of confidence and belonging.

For many teenagers from Ukraine, that kind of support can make a real difference. Sometimes it starts with one conversation, one idea, one moment of courage – and grows into the feeling that Poland can be a place where they feel safe and truly welcome.
