Women spend a lifetime being told they’re too much, not enough, too big, too small, too old, too young.
SKINNY takes all of that pressure and turns it into an award-winning cabaret that’s funny, honest and painfully relatable.
Now it’s touring regional SA.

We're so thrilled to say Skinny by Michelle Pearson is back and Michelle is ready to shake up Regional SA with her inspiring story and her unforgettable voice!
Part cabaret, part theatre, and all powerhouse vocals, Skinny is inspired by Michelle's own personal journey. Full of biting and hilarious commentary on the extraordinary lengths people go to in pursuit of being skinny.
Heading to Port Augusta, Cummins, Streaky Bay, Port Pirie and Burra.

It isn't every day that you get noticed by one of your heroes ... but that's just what's happened for a budding young Port Lincoln artist. 💐
Tesha Kugena painted a portrait of Albert Namatjira as part of her St Joseph's Year 12 art portfolio last year.
Local Country Arts SA officer Gillian Steel was so impressed she sent a photograph of the portrait to Albert's grandson, 2020 Archibald Prize winner Vincent Namatjira who lives in the Northern Territory. 🏆
Tesha was delighted to receive a thank you response from Vincent and a message to keep up the good work. 😊
Well done Tesha! 🎨🖌

“It has been a powerful immersion that l hope to carry within me forever" – Julie Stoneman, 2024 Grindell’s Hut Resident.
Based in Hobart, Julie used the Grindell's Hut residency to analyse the ancient landscape - examining rocks at their most micro-level - to bring their hidden worlds to life in pen and ink, completely secluded from the distractions of day-to-day suburban life.
Looking for a residency opportunity to focus on your practice?
Applications close 5pm, June 30 for Grindell's Hut.
