To celebrate Olympic Day, the State Government in partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee has relaunched Olympics Unleashed across South Australia 🤩

Connecting schools with Olympians and elite athletes, the program gives students the chance to hear firsthand the lessons, resilience and mindset behind sporting success and apply them to goals of their own.

Available to every public and private high school and designed for Years 7–9, Olympics Unleashed will inspire the next generation on the road to Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 🇦🇺✨

SASI athletes Aidan Murphy (200m), Marley Raikiwasa (Shot Put) and Tim Fraser (10,000m Race Walk) are set to make their Commonwealth Games debuts, while Kurtis Marschall (SA origin/WAIS) will be chasing a remarkable third consecutive Commonwealth Games gold medal in the Pole Vault. 🥇🥇🥇

They join Lizzy McMillen (10,000m Race Walk) who was named in the first round of selections.

Victoria University, University of Wollongong, Susan Alberti AC and Active Education Australia are seeking insights from those who make decisions about female sports kits and school sport uniforms.

The study will explore understanding of breast-related considerations in sport, perspectives on including sports bras as part of uniforms, and current organisational practices.

Your input will help shape an evidence-based guide to support schools and sporting organisations in making informed, inclusive uniform decisions.

🏓 Office bragging rights were on the line today as the ORSR Lunchtime Table Tennis Tournament came to a thrilling conclusion.

Over recent weeks, 26 pairs took part in lunchtime matches, combining healthy office rivalry with the chance to connect with colleagues and stay active.

Four SASI swimmers have been named as part of a 60-strong Australian Dolphins team for Glasgow 2026🐬

Congratulations to Brittany Castelluzzo, Matt Temple and Molly Walker who secured their places on the team following strong performances at the 2026 Australian Swimming Trials. They join Jasmine Fullgrabe, who was announced with the Para Swimming selections.

South Australian Nestory Irankunda announced himself on the world stage in style, making his FIFA World Cup debut and becoming the youngest Socceroo ever to score at a World Cup ⚽🔥

To top it off, Nestory was named Player of the Match as Australia defeated Türkiye 2-0.
