The City of Adelaide supports National Reconciliation Week, 27 May to 3 June, commemorating the successful Referendum amending the constitution on May 27 1967, and the High Court Mabo decision on June 3 1992.

The NRW 2026 theme, "All In", calls on all Australians from all walks of life to commit to reconciliation each and every day to make change, encouraging all of us to unite for progress in advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' rights. This year's artwork, pictured in the above tile, is by Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung artist Otis Hope Carey. If you would like to learn more about Reconciliation Week or the artist head to the link below: www.reconciliation.org.au

Our libraries are proud of our diverse Aboriginal Cultures Collection established in partnership with Kaurna community representatives. This collection is a dedicated space that celebrates the significant contributions of Aboriginal authors and Aboriginal people by sharing their stories alongside our general collections. It offers a wide range of materials suitable for adults, teenagers, and children for borrowing at Hutt Street Library and City Library: https://shorturl.at/rISnX
