The SES is hard at work every day to help those that need it most. Being a part of the Enfield Unit has been a dream come true, where having the ability to help people, build exciting skills and making life long friends is something worth cherishing. Thank you to Port Adelaide Enfield for this post.

Flooded roads pose a significant risk.
⚠️ You can't see if the road has been washed away!
⚠️ There may be harmful bacteria or dangerous objects in the water, as it is usually not clean.
⚠️ The water may be flowing fast enough to wash vehicles or people away!
Never drive, ride, or walk through floodwater. If it's flooded, forget it.
Hey SA, we’ve had a lot of rain 🌧️
With more falling across parts of the state, it’s important to stay safe:
Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater – it can be deeper and faster than it looks.
Slow down, stay alert, and drive to the conditions.

A big thankyou to John Fulbrook MP and Lawrence Ben MP for dropping by the unit and gifting us donuts! As a token of appreciation for Thank A First Responders Day. 🧡

Today is Thank a First Responder Day. Enfield SES would like to thank all first responders for their hard work and commitment.
💙 Thank a First Responder Day 💙
🙏🏻Thank a First Responder Day is a nationwide campaign coordinated by Fortem Australia, providing an opportunity for Australians to recognise and thank the emergency service personnel and volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and supported.
Today, we would like to recognise and thank all of our dedicated volunteers at Mount Barker SES as well as all other first responders out there. 🧡🚨
🙏🏻🫶🏼 First responders give up their time with family and friends, leave the comfort of their homes, and respond whenever their community needs them.
To every First Responder, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to keeping our community safe.💛🧡💚💙

Enfield SES had the absolute pleasure of visiting South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service Station 20, home to MFS HQ, a number of specialty fire/rescue appliances, and the dispatch and communications centre for SES, CFS, and MFS.
We learnt Station 20 is the largest operating fire station in the southern hemisphere.
Crews toured a pumper appliance and Adelaide 204, the specialty Technical Rescue Appliance. We also received a presentation about the call-taking and dispatch process, along with a tour of the communications room.
Thank you to the MFS and Adelaide Station 20 for your hospitality.
