We are now in the open season in the SW sector of the City of Albany so no permits are required But we do please ask you to register your burn on 93959210 which is the DFES number to avoid any false callouts to fire's we don't need to attend thanks

Hi folks the weather forecast is for very windy conditions tomorrow and warm temps before a possible wet change later in the day so all permits are suspended until it comes back down to moderate thanks.

As of midnight tonight the SW sector of the City of Albany goes into the restricted/permit season so that means if you wish to burn or light up you'll need a permit from your areas FCO/permit writer's. Also PLEASE! Please! have patience and understand that we are volunteer's and we have families and job's and other commitments so we do this in what spare time we have. Thanks

PROHIBITED BURNING TIME - EXTENSION 🔥🚫
Pursuant to Section 17 of the Bush Fires Act 1954 the City of Albany advises, due to dry seasonal conditions, the Prohibited Burning Period will be extended in the Southwest Sector up to and including 9 April 2026.

My apologies I was getting ahead of my self and posted wrong information. The PROHIBITED! Burning Season has been pushed back to the 28th of March so NO burning allowed. Thank you
