Truth be told, none of us love the 2:30am pager message. But knowing you're heading out to help the community alongside your mates makes it a little easier.

A huge well done to our crew who responded to this job early this morning 🧡

Can you see yourself in orange? Come along to our Information Night next Thursday evening and learn more about volunteering with SES.

Today we welcomed a number of Scouts to our unit to learn more about who we are and what we do. We explored topics including first aid and casualty handling, make-safe repairs, emergency preparedness kits, and search and rescue operations.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, asked great questions, and came ready to learn. 🚨🧡

Our incredible volunteers are still out braving the cold and wet conditions, responding to multiple reports of trees down across roads and other storm-related incidents.

If you're travelling this evening, please take care, drive to the conditions, and remember to slow to 40km/h when passing emergency vehicles displaying flashing lights. Stay alert and stay safe. 🚨🌧️🌳

All smiles despite the wild weather! 😁🌧️

Strong winds brought down this large tree at Navigators this afternoon.

With windy conditions expected to continue into the evening, our volunteers remain ready to respond 🧡

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to learn more about the rich cultural history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and to consider how can all contribute to supporting reconciliation.

We invite you to join us as we reflect on the 2026 theme, all in for reconciliation, which considers the ongoing connection between past, present and future.
