I would like to thank all the hard working people that helped make ANZAC Day 2026 in Alice Springs another memorable day.
All the hard working volunteers that helped run the gunfire breakfast at this mornings Dawn Service.
All the Defence Personnel from NORFORCE, HMAS Arunta, 1 RSU and all the ADF Cadets that participated in all of today’s services.
The council staff and Akron traffic management personnel that helped make the March safe and special.
The staff and members of the Alice Turf Club that put on the first annual Veteran’s Cup and the staff that helped run the annual Two-up.
All the community members that attended and supported all of today’s comemmorations.
And lastly the dedicated members of the Alice Springs RSL Sub-branch committee.

Thank you all for helping make today’s commemorations so special.

The Alice Springs Turf Club, in partnership with the RSL, is pleased to announce the Official Two-Up will take place this ANZAC Day, as part of the Red Centre Technology Partners Chief Ministers Cup at Ladbrokes Pioneer Park.

With ANZAC Day falling on race day this year, we look forward to providing a respectful space for the community to come together, reflect and connect.

The Official Two-Up will run throughout the early afternoon, with other activities across the day. A minute’s silence will be observed prior to the running of the Veterans Cup.

Gates open from 12 noon, with a full race program to follow.

Free buses will run from the Alice Springs Convention Centre at 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm, with return services in the afternoon.

Families are also welcome, with a children’s ANZAC craft table running from 1pm–3pm, variety of food options, live entertainment and the Guineas Bar will be screening the Collingwood vs Essendon ANZAC Day AFL match.

We look forward to welcoming the community for a meaningful and memorable ANZAC Day at the races.

5:00am - Gunfire Breakfast Alice Springs Garden Cemetery.

6:00am - Dawn Service Alice Springs Garden Cemetery.

9:15am - Assembly & Form Up on corner of Todd Mall & Parson Street in front of Information Centre.

9:45am - March Starts. March route is north along Todd Street, Dias on left of Todd Street opposite cinema, across wills Terrace, North along ANZAC Commemorative Walk along river, Left onto Schwartz Cresent, Left onto ANZAC Hill Road.
There will be curtesy bus up & down ANZAC Hill.

10:30am - Mid Morning Service ANZAC Hill Cenotaph.

12:00noon - 2-UP & Veterans Cup Alice Springs Turf Club, Pioneer Park Race Track.
