It’s something we’re all guilty of doing but experts warn exactly how dangerous charging your phone and iPad on your bed really is.
What happens if a phone is charging on a bed?
If the phone is charging on the bed, near flammable materials like sheets, blankets, or pillows, the risk of fire increases significantly. A fire caused by an overheated phone can cause serious property damage.

Hi friends, Gus here
Today, Team Golden Oldies would like to take a moment to say a very big THANK YOU to all of our First Responders on First Responders Day.
While we spend our days enjoying naps, treats, cuddles and sunshine, there are incredible people out there who answer the call when others need help most. Day or night, rain or shine, they step forward without hesitation to help, protect and care for our communities.
To the firefighters, paramedics, police officers, SES volunteers, rescue crews, surf life savers and all emergency service personnel — thank you for your courage, dedication and sacrifice. Thank you for the long hours, the missed family moments, the difficult situations you face and the kindness you show when people are at their most vulnerable.
You are the heroes who run towards danger when others are running away.
From all of us here at Team Golden Oldies, we send you our love, gratitude and a million tail wags.
Thank you for all that you do.
Love and licks,
Gus - Latin for Not all heroes wear capes
