Thailand came to City Hall yesterday 🌺🇹🇭

Sawasdee Thailand brought the colour, flavour and energy of Thai culture to the heart of Brisbane with traditional performances, street food, markets and community celebrations.

From incredible food to vibrant entertainment, it was a wonderful reminder of how multicultural communities help make Brisbane such a welcoming and exciting place to live.

Brisbane is backing its athletes.

Almost half of Australia’s elite athletes earn below the poverty line and that’s not good enough for a city that loves sport like ours does.

In partnership with five-time Olympian Nat Cook’s Aussie Athlete Fund, we’ve launched Team Brisbane, selecting 12 incredible local athletes as inaugural members, each eligible for up to $10,000 to help with the real costs of competing at the highest level.

Congratulations to the 12 atheltes selected. Brisbane is right behind you on the road to 2032.

QUEENSLAND’S BACK!

What a game. The Maroons proved the doubters wrong. 👏

Now it all comes down to a decider at Suncorp Stadium, just the way we like it.
