Are you interested in volunteering and looking for meaningful ways to get involved in your community?

Midway Road Community House is currently inviting expressions of interest from people who would like to join our Committee of Management. This is a rewarding opportunity to play an active role in shaping the direction, sustainability, and impact of a valued local organisation.

As a committee member, you’ll work collaboratively with others to provide guidance, support decision-making, and help ensure the community house continues to thrive and respond to local needs. You don’t need previous board or governance experience - just a genuine interest in your community, a willingness to contribute, and the ability to work as part of a team. We welcome people from diverse backgrounds, with a range of skills, perspectives, and life experiences.

Whether you bring experience in administration, finance, community development, marketing, or simply a passion for making a difference, your contribution will be valued.

This is a voluntary role and typically involves attending regular meetings and contributing to planning and discussions. It’s also a great opportunity to build new skills, connect with others, and be part of something positive in your local area.
