A vehicle rebirthing syndicate allegedly operating across Melbourne has been dismantled, with police seizing 10 vehicles and stolen car parts valued at $1.5 million.
Investigators executed seven search warrants across Keysborough, Carrum Downs and Brookfield on 16 June, uncovering a cache of stolen vehicles and components.
Among the items seized were:
🔹 8 high-end Holden HSVs
🔹 A Jeep Grand Cherokee
🔹 A Toyota LandCruiser
🔹 Numerous parts including engine blocks, transmissions, doors, wheels, fake plates and more
It will be alleged the vehicles were stolen from across Melbourne and potentially interstate, with VIN numbers and engine stamps replaced before the cars were re-registered.
Three men have been charged in relation to the investigation, which remains ongoing.

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was allegedly assaulted in Frankston earlier this week.
Police were called to reports of an injured man at an address on Charon Court on Sunday, 7 June about 11pm.
It is understood a physical altercation occurred between three men outside the residence.
A 37-year-old Frankston man remains in hospital with critical injuries.

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged three teenagers following a series of offending in the CBD and Frankston areas.
The charges relate to the following alleged offending:
- Theft of motor vehicle from an underground car park at a shopping centre in Box Hill on 23 April
- An attempted aggravated home invasion in Frankson on 31 May
- An aggravated home invasion and an attempted aggravated home invasion in Frankson on 4 June
- Evading police in Hastings on 4 June
Two teenagers were arrested at a residential address in Seaford on Friday 6 June.
Detectives arrested a third offender, a 20-year-old man, during a search warrant in Frankston on Sunday, 7 June.
An 18-year-old Frankston man was charged with attempted aggravated home invasion, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated home invasion, possess firearm when FPO applies, possess unregistered handgun, expose emergency worker to risk by driving and reckless conduct endangering life.
A 14-year-old boy from the Frankston area was charged with attempted aggravated home invasion, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated home invasion, possess unregistered handgun, expose emergency worker to risk by driving and reckless conduct endangering life.
A 20-year-old Frankston man was charged with attempted aggravated home invasion, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated home invasion, affray and possess prohibited weapons.
