Join us for FREE activities, giveaways and goodies as we mark a decade of sport, movement and connection in Wyndham.
It’s been almost 10 years since we opened Eagle Stadium, as it is today, in June 2016! We’ve seen our community grow alongside it, from young athletes building confidence, to friends and families creating memories, and countless people reaching their health goals. Eagle is more than just a stadium, it’s a community hub that’s served so many of us in the West of Victoria.
More detail will come soon, so follow us here!

Strength isn't coping alone. Strength is knowing when to bring other's in.
Most of us are great at showing up for others but not always ourselves. That’s why this Men’s Health Week we’re creating a space for honest conversations that matter.
WynActive members are invited to join a session led by psychologist Kylie Latu, Melbourne United NBL team psychologist. Centred on the ‘Partners in Care’ theme of Men’s Health Week, it will teach and encourage men to connect, reach out and support each other before struggle becomes something bigger. An important conversation that goes beyond physical fitness because that’s not where health stops!
So let’s keep the conversation going together.

We’re pleased to share a message from our Board Chair, Libby Mears, with an exciting leadership update for Western Leisure Services, the organisation behind WynActive.
-----
The Board of Western Leisure Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Cam Vale as our new Chief Executive Officer.
Cam brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience across sport, entertainment and not-for-profit sectors, including CEO roles with Hockey Australia and Baseball Australia, as well as executive leadership roles with North Melbourne Football Club and Melbourne Storm. More recently, he has been working across a range of strategic and financial consulting roles within the sport and leisure industry, including here in Melbourne.
Across his career, Cam has built a strong reputation for leading organisations through change, strengthening financial performance, and creating meaningful connections between community participation and elite sport. He has successfully led organisational turnarounds, secured major partnerships, and driven significant revenue growth, while keeping a strong focus on people, culture and community impact.
What stood out throughout the recruitment process was Cam’s genuine passion for community, his balanced leadership style, and his ability to think strategically while still being hands-on. He has extensive experience working with Boards, government, and community stakeholders, and is excited about getting to know our people, our services, and the communities we support.
Sharing his excitement about the future Cam said “I am excited to be given the opportunity to be the CEO of Western Leisure Services. A great foundation has been built over the past 12 years, creating these amazing sporting and community assets for Wyndam and the greater Western region. I take on the role of CEO looking to build off the work of the team, Board and Council, bringing my experience from the sports sector to this role to the benefit of the local community”
Cam joins WLS in June marking a new phase for WLS. We look forward to the experience, energy and perspective Cam will bring to our organisation as we continue to build on our strong foundations together.
