Hurt a dog or cat in Brazil, and you could face up to 5 years in prison. 🐶🐱
In 2020, Brazil passed the Sansão Law, named after a dog whose abuse shocked the nation.
The law made cruelty against dogs and cats a serious crime, punishable by prison time, fines, and bans on owning animals.
And Brazil didn’t stop there. In 2025, the country expanded protections by banning cosmetic tattoos and piercings on pets, with the same harsh penalties for violators.
A powerful reminder: animals are not objects. They feel pain, fear, and love, and they deserve protection.

In 2004, at the peak of the Iraq War, 50 Cent flew into Camp Anaconda — a U.S. military base near Balad that was hit by rockets or mortars almost every day, earning it the nickname "Mortaritaville."
A missile had already struck the base that morning before his plane touched down.
On the flight in, a soldier told him straight: "I'm not gonna lie to you — you could die today."
He got off the plane anyway.
50 Cent and G-Unit suited up in body armor, took the stage in brutal desert heat, and performed a full concert for thousands of deployed U.S. troops. The show was delayed because of an attack — soldiers had to wear full combat gear just to attend.
He reportedly needed IV fluids afterward from the heat.
Most people only know 50 Cent for getting sh0t 9 times and surviving. Far fewer know he once flew into one of the most dangerous places on Earth — not for a paycheck, not for cameras — just to give soldiers a few hours of something that felt like home.
That's a different kind of toughness.

An era may be coming to an end for one of the most iconic aircraft in American history.
Following a trip to Europe this week, White House officials posted emotional farewells to the Boeing 747-200 aircraft that has served as Air Force One since 1990, signaling that its replacement could soon enter service.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung shared a photo of the aircraft with the caption, "The last ride. Well done, good and faithful servant."
The aircraft, known by the Air Force as the VC-25A, has carried every U.S. president from George H.W. Bush through Donald Trump and has become one of the most recognizable airplanes in the world.
Its replacement is already in the works. Three Boeing 747-8 aircraft are being modified to serve as the next generation of Air Force One, including a heavily modified Boeing 747 donated by Qatar that will temporarily bridge the gap until Boeing completes two purpose-built VC-25B aircraft.
The current VC-25A fleet has played a role in some of the most historic moments in modern American history, including transporting President George W. Bush during the September 11 attacks and carrying multiple presidents to major world events and state funerals.
The future Air Force One fleet will feature a bold new red, white, blue, and gold paint scheme championed by President Trump, replacing the traditional light-blue livery that has defined the aircraft for decades.
Although the aging VC-25As are expected to remain in service for the near future, the arrival of the next-generation fleet marks the beginning of a historic transition for presidential air travel.
**The takeaway:** After 35 years of presidential service, the iconic Boeing 747-200 Air Force One fleet is preparing to hand over duties to a new generation of Boeing 747-8 aircraft. 🇺🇸✈️
