When they’re winning, they feel on top of the world, but when they’re losing, they feel miserable.

The good news is that positive parenting can help kids learn the fundamental skills needed to be a good sport. And focus on what’s most important – having fun!

Today, our educators from Goodstart Kealba had the wonderful opportunity to attend Wayapa® training on Thursday 28th May. 🌿✨

This meaningful experience allowed us to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal perspectives, mindfulness, and the importance of connecting with the Earth through everyday practices. We are excited to bring these learnings back into our centre to support children’s wellbeing, respect for culture, and connection to nature.

Goodstart Kealba was proud to participate in the Big Breakfast to help raise money for the Cancer Foundation. 💛

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your generous donations and support. Thanks to your kindness, our original goal of $100 has now reached an amazing $350 — and we are still receiving donations! 🎉

Our children also worked hard decorating beautiful photo frames that families could purchase to help raise even more money for this important cause. A big thank you to our amazing educators and children for all of their creativity, effort, and support throughout the event. 👏

We would also like to give a very special thank you to our amazing cook, Wella, who worked incredibly hard with the set up and organising all of the food for the event. Your effort and dedication made the morning such a success.
