♻️ Bread Tag Collection Update ♻️

Our bread tag collection program will be wrapping up at the end of this month.

If you have any bread tags waiting to be donated, please bring them along to Community Day on Sunday 21 June for our final collection.

Before dropping them off, please take a moment to check your collection and remove any cardboard bread tags, as only plastic bread tags can be accepted.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative and helped make a difference through your contributions!

Monthly Community Day is back this June!

Join us this Sunday 21 June from 10am–12pm for a morning of great local initiatives.

We'll be indoors this month, so you can stay warm and dry while enjoying all your favourite Sustainability Hub, Community Day activities, including:

Small actions, shared resources, and great conversations – that's what Community Day is all about.

**PLEASE NOTE - there will be no bike repair at Community Day this Sunday. Bike repair will be back in August.

The first half of the year has flown by, and when we return from the school holidays, we'll be knocking on the door of August!

If you've been thinking about learning something new, meeting new people, getting active, or exploring a hobby, now is the perfect time to plan your second half of 2026.

Our Term 3 classes, activities and courses are now live, with something for all ages and interests.

The last day of Term 2 is Friday 26 June, with Term 3 starting Monday 13 July.

Men’s Health Week activities are happening across Maroondah Neighbourhood Houses this June.

Council is proud to support local community centres and neighbourhood houses to deliver a range of free activities for men and boys, focused on wellbeing, connection and healthy living.

It’s National Volunteer Week and we want to give a big shout out to our amazing Committee 💚

So much of what happens at our community centre wouldn’t be possible without this wonderful group of volunteers. From helping guide and support the centre behind the scenes to sharing their ideas, knowledge and encouragement, they give so much of their time and care to help make this place what it is.
