It’s healthy waterways and community at Quamby! 💧

Backed by $2 million from the Victorian Government, there’s now new weir infrastructure and recreation facilities on the Avoca River at Quambatook.

It’s great news for local tourism and liveability in this little town in north-west Victoria.

And it’s just one of the many projects we’re supporting to make regional Victoria an even better place to live, work, stay, experience, invest and study.

Rain, hail or shine – Queens Park in Clunes is ready for outdoor get-togethers. ☀️

New shade sails are now installed at the park’s playground, making it possible for year-round fun.

The park features an undercover playground, along with a barbecue and picnic table for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Clunes is a gold rush era town famous for its annual Clunes Booktown Festival.

Thanks to the Tiny Towns Fund, we’ve also supported shade sail projects across the state in places like Nullawarre and Garvoc along the Great South Coast.

These are part of hundreds of locally driven projects that are making our tiniest towns better than ever for local communities to live in and support the local economy.

It’s more jobs for Wodonga and more paw-fect food for cats across Australia and New Zealand thanks to Mars, Incorporated's facility expansion!

The new facility is using advanced manufacturing technology to produce cat food pouches for several popular brands and has created more than 65 local jobs – bringing the company’s Wodonga workforce to nearly 500 staff.

We helped to fund this expansion as part of our ongoing work to make regional Victoria and even better place to live, work and invest.
