The growing support for One Nation represents a dangerous development in politics that must be countered.

Hanson and other right-wing populists are channelling the resultant growing anger with the capitalist status quo into racist scapegoating of recent migrants from non-European countries.

PHON claims to be against the status quo but is as fully committed to serving the billionaire class as much as the traditional parties of government.

Join this public meeting co-hosted by Socialist Alliance and Green Left to discuss how we can push back against One Nation.

Tuesday, June 30, 6pm food served, 6:30pm forum start.

Resistance Centre
Level 5, 407 Swanston Street, Melbourne

Speakers:
Sue Bolton, Merri-bek councillor and Socialist Alliance candidate for Broadmeadows

Deepak Joshi, Hindus for Human Rights and the Humanism Project

Jiselle Hanna, State Secretary, CPSU

57.7% of AEU members voted to reject the Victorian State government dud offer to teachers and education support staff.

This is a great result for rank and file unionism and shows that it is possible to challenge trade union leaderships selling their members short.

All solidarity to AEU members taking the next steps in fighting for an agreement that they truly deserve.

Merri-bek councillor & Socialist Alliance candidate for Broadmeadows, Sue Bolton, spoke out against the destruction of public housing around the country at a recent rally in Naarm/Melbourne.

Bolton told the crowd that we have to stop the Victorian State Government's plan to demolish the 44 high-rise public housing towers, because if they are successful it will be the death of public housing in the state.
