Over the weekend, the Proactive Policing Unit and Recruitment Services were out at AAMI Park for the Melbourne Storm v Canberra Raiders Community Round 🏉
We had a fantastic turnout, with heaps of people stopping by to chat, meet our members and learn about joining Victoria Police.
The Aboriginal artwork–wrapped police vehicle was a standout, drawing plenty of attention and sparking really positive conversations.
Big thanks to the Melbourne Storm for having us - and congrats on the win! 💜 🙌

Going, going, GONE!!! 🏎
Last weekend a Merc driving at speed in the CBD caught the eye of Melbourne West members. What followed: some flashing red and blue lights; an 18-year-old driver with a suspended licence; and a PBT well over the legal limit... Needless to say his car was impounded, and he’ll be fronting court with a few questions to be answered.
