You’ll go ga ga at some of the fashions in the ‘The Offbeat Sari’ exhibition, now open at Bunjil Place. Especially this Concept Sari, a replica of the one worn by Lady Gaga, designed by Tarun Tahiliani.
Tarun Tahiliani is known for blending traditional Indian forms with contemporary silhouettes. His work reflects the sari’s adaptability in modern fashion, balancing structure, fluidity and innovation while honouring its cultural roots.
Presented exclusively in Victoria at Bunjil Place, ‘The Offbeat Sari’ is a touring exhibition by theDesign Museum, London. Conceived and curated by Priya Khanchandani. Thanks to our Program Partner, Orana by Balcon.

Experience the free premiere screening of this short film by Radhikal Collective featuring intimate conversations with designers Shilpa Rajesh and Amilani Perera in a celebration of makers and wearers: the women who wear their heritage with pride and the artisans who, with generations of skill, breathe life into every thread, taking the journey of the sari through to the 21st century.

A winning afternoon for the Socceroos at Bunjil Place
What a great atmosphere over the weekend as the City of Casey community came together to watch the Socceroos on the big screen.
