🇦🇺 HAPPY KING’S BIRTHDAY 🇦🇺

Today, we recognise and celebrate the official birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, King of Australia.

We reflect on the values of duty, service, leadership, and loyalty that have long been associated with military service to Crown and our Commonwealth, and the King’s personal commitment to youth development.

We wish all members of the Australian Army Cadets family and wider community a safe and enjoyable public holiday.

WHERE SKILLS AND FRIENDSHIPS GROW

Winter has arrived but there’s always something to look forward to at our weekly Parade Nights! From teamwork and leadership activities to learning new skills and practising drill, every night brings new challenges and opportunities.

To top it all off, we finish with a sausage sizzle and a chance to catch up with friends.

NAVIGATION, DRILL, PT AND TEAMWORK

Classroom lessons and teamwork, setting up a command post (CP), physical training and night navigation exercises in the park, and drill on the parade square. It was another action-packed parade night at 206 Army Cadet Unit.

With the Term 2 Bivouac fast approaching, our cadets are preparing to put their skills into practice and build on everything they learned during their earlier bivouac this month. We can’t wait to see their progress continue.
