INCIDENT - Calder Freeway re-opened

UPDATE 1.18pm

All outbound lanes of the Calder Freeway have been re-opened to traffic between Kings Road and Bulla-Diggers Rest Road, following a collision near Calder Park Drive, Calder Park.

Delays have eased quickly along the detour routes.

🚧 All outbound lanes of the Calder Freeway are closed between Kings Road, Taylors Lakes and Bulla-Diggers Rest Road, Diggers Rest due to a serious collision.

⏳ Please allow up to 30 minutes for the 20km detour through Sydenham, Hillside, Plumpton and Diggers Rest
⬅ If you're heading away from Melbourne, exit the Calder Freeway at Kings Road, then use the Melton Highway through Sydenham, Hillside through to Federation Drive and Gisborne-Melton Road. Then use Diggers Rest-Coimadai Road towards Diggers Rest. Return access to the freeway is available via Vineyard Road or Bulla-Diggers Rest Road.
➡️ If you're heading to Sunbury, consider detouring early via the Tullamarine Freeway and Sunbury Road through Bulla.

👮‍♂️ This closure is under the control of Victoria Police. The freeway will re-open only when investigations and it's safe to do so.
Transport Victoria's Incident Response Service is assisting with traffic management on the freeway and surrounding roads, while our signals team is adjusting traffic lights to help minimise congestion on detour routes.

INCIDENT CLEAR - Monash Freeway collision and spill

UPDATE 9pm

All outbound lanes re-opened on the Monash Freeway at High Street, following an earlier collision and spill.

Delays have since cleared.

Two of the four outbound lanes of the Monash Freeway are closed after High Street, due to a collision and spill.

Two lanes remain open past emergency services.

There are significant delays of up to 90 minutes back through the Burnley Tunnel onto the West Gate Freeway.

Avoid the outbound lanes of the Monash Freeway and consider taking Kings Way, Queens Road, Dandenong Road and Warrigal Road to enter the Monash Freeway.

Lanes will only re-open when it is safe to do so.

All outbound lanes re-opened on the Monash Freeway after Huntingdale Road, following an earlier truck rollover.

Delays from the Burnley Tunnel have eased.

Three outbound lanes of the Monash Freeway are now open after Huntingdale Road. Crews continue to remove a rolled truck with the two left lanes closed.

Delays of up to 90 minutes extend back through the Burnley Tunnel onto the West Gate Freeway.

UPDATE 3.20pm

Now four of the five outbound lanes of the Monash Freeway are closed after Huntingdale Road, due to a truck rollover.

Significant outbound delays continue to push back towards the Burnley Tunnel.

Avoid the Monash Freeway and take alternatives like Dandenong Road, Toorak Road or High Street.

Delays of up to 90 minutes stretch back to Toorak Road.
