Facility closure - Pool maintenance

Please note that all pools at MPAC will closed from Monday 15 June to Sunday 28 June to allow for scheduled maintenance works.

The centre will reopen at 5am on Monday 29 June 2026.

All learn to swim, squad training, and aquatic programs will pause during this period and resume upon reopening.

We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience.

Here is our lane availability for this week, June 8 to 14.

Please note the 50m pool will be closed for public lap swimming on Sunday June 8th from 9am to 3pm. The 50m pool will be available from 7 to 9am and 3 to 5pm. All other pools, tennis courts and gym will remain available for public use all day from 7am to 5pm.

The Centre will also be closed for maintenance from Monday June 15th, reopening Monday June 29th at 5am.

Looking for a fun, structured way for your kids to build confidence in the water or take their water polo to the next level? This off-season we’re launching two junior programs at UQ Water Polo:  Introductory & Early Skills (Ages 6–13) (1 session per wk, 4 sessions total): $130pp (includes sessions and pool entry) 6–8 years: shallow pool, parents in the water, building water confidence and simple ball skills through games. Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm 8–10 years: shallow pool, must be able to swim 25m independently, growing core skills and game awareness. Tuesdays 5-6pm 10–13 years: deep pool, must be able to swim 50m independently, refining technique and introducing more structured play. Wednesdays 5-6pm  Hungarian Academy (Ages 14–18) (2 sessions per wk, 9 sessions total) : $280pp (includes sessions and pool entry) For strong swimmers who already know the basics of water polo. Led by two highly qualified coaches, focusing on advanced skills, tactics and game intensity.
